COVID-19 UPDATES
We’re committed to creating an environment that meets government recommendations for safety. To make this possible, our services have been redesigned to create a sanitary, touchless environment that allows for social distancing. This includes limiting the number of guests that can attend service.
At Reservoir Garden Baptist Church, we’re committed to helping the families and communities we serve. Here are the ways the church is ensuring the health and well-being of our members, guests and volunteers.
LIMITING THE NUMBER OF GUESTS IN SERVICES
We are limiting the number of guests who can attend a service at one time, following the size of the church hall, abiding to the government SOP, a capacity limit of one third of the number of seats for the hall or place of worship with social distancing being practiced.
Members, guests and volunteers are required to reserve their seats to allow the church to control the number of attendees per week.
TEMPERATURE CHECKS
The body temperature of the members, guests and volunteers are taken before entering the hall. Body temperature exceeding 37.5°C are not allowed to attend the service, following the government SOP. In addition, those with symptoms such as: flu, coughing and difficulty in breathing are strictly prohibited from attending.
PROVIDING HAND SANITIZER FOR GUESTS AND VOLUNTEERS
We have installed hand sanitizer stations at the entrance & exit of the church.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
The distance of 1-metre is clearly marked in the hall, with seats arranged 1 metre apart. We encourage members, guests and volunteers to use touchless greetings such as a wave (no handshakes or hugs) to say hello.
